The survey covers 162 manufacturing companies from 3 sectors(textile, food, and wood products). The survey is composed of 8 sections (1. General characteristics, 2. Business foundation and background of the owner, 3. Techniques and capacities of production, 4. Marketing, 5. Employment, 6. Machinery, materials, and the composition of capital, 7 Finance and investment, 8. Limitations to expansion and government policies) and includes both quantitative and multiple-choice questions. Though the dataset essentially cross section at the moment of the survey(1990), some retrospective questions are included.
